    Jerry Calliste Jr.
    Founder, Managing Director, Consultant

    Jerry Calliste Jr, born Bronx, New York is a lateral thinker, early stage entrepreneur and energetic team leader, who for the past 27 plus years has successfully created, co-founded and executive managed independent music and entertainment companies that collectively sold an "estimated" 5.0 million units worldwide. In 2009 Calliste Jr. founded Calliste Communications (Callistecomm) and serves as managing director and consultant. He manages; day-to-day operations, outsourced strategic partners, consults entrepreneurs, start-ups and small business owners and oversees custom software development projects. Calliste Jr. saves entrepreneurs and small businesses money by streamlining operations and locating strategic partners to produce success with limited resources. Calliste Jr. is also co-founder of a 2009 start-up joint venture SimpleStream.us.

    As an aspiring young entrepreneur at 16, Calliste Jr. organized and promoted his first event at a New York City skating rink. He received his first record label experience as a janitor and independent promoter at Tommy Boy Records. At 17, Calliste Jr. co-founded Cutting Records and served as vice president of national retail and radio promotions, negotiated artist contracts with attorney's, licensed music to independent and major labels and music publishers, located, signed, promoted and consistently charted artists and their music worldwide in industry trade publications, managed 5 employees and co-managed daily operations. At Cutting he and his partners took the company from start-up to operational phase and a #1 Independent Record Label position within 3 years of the labels inception.

    In 1993 Calliste Jr., 28 was independent promoter for major and independent record labels Mercury, East West and Trac Records. In 2001, Calliste Jr. 36, founded Bassmint Music Inc. an independent digital music record label he serves on the board of directors and executive management team as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Bassmint Music (Bmmi.biz) and Bassmintmusic (.COM, .TV and .Mobi) respectively where he manages and develops; daily operations, saves the label advance royalty fees with each new talent acquisition, locates new business opportunities, strategic partners, talented employees and artists worldwide. At Bassmint Calliste Jr. directed press and grassroots promotions campaigns for nightclubs in the Midwest - most notable; World Gym Ohio, GUESS? Inc., Columbus Monthly, Charles Penzone, and The Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson's V.I.P. birthday bash.

    Calliste Jr. volunteers his time for political and select causes and often finds himself educating people to the ins-and-outs of the 'new recorded music business'. In 2004 Calliste Jr. created Bassmint Music's innovative online media and public relations and marketing assistant coordinator internship curriculum that is recognized by 10 accredited colleges and universities such as The Ohio State University (OSU), Ohio University (OU), University of Tampa (UT) and University of Miami (UM). To date Calliste Jr. has volunteered 4,500 hours and supervised 30 interns. Calliste Jr. co-created the First Step Initiative (FSI). FSI is a program designed to award students and young adults who achieve academic goals and maintain 'good standing' in their communities with special gifts from various corporations and ultimately provide scholarships to attend college. Calliste Jr. manages and promotes Bassmint Music's 'First Step Initiative' recognized in 2005, 2006, and 2007 by the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers community services department.

    As recent as 2007 Calliste Jr. was invited and participated as volunteer for then Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's finance committee where he emailed and called his influential contacts in New York, Connecticut and Ohio (as well as other States) to raise funds for the campaign and get out the vote. Calliste Jr. serves as a volunteer Special Advisor at Stargazer Foundation (Stargazer.org) a U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit foundation.

    Calliste Jr. attends the Ross School of Management and Leadership at Franklin University where he is a double major B.Sc. in IT and B.Sc. in MIS student. He is highly proficient in mathematics and in addition to his coursework he studies fractals, statistics, mathematical modeling, probability, reductionism, randomness, chaos and complexity. He is fluent in English, strengthening his Spanish and learning Mandarin Chinese.

    Da Xie
    Foreign Markets Analysts

    Mr. Xie serves as an Independent Foreign Markets Analyst at Calliste and at times will communicate with the company's East Asian partners and potential clients. At twenty-five years old Mr. Xie is a top young student and promising engineer.

    Mr. Xie is a Ph.D. candidate in Information and Communication Engineering at the College of Marine Engineering at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xian, P.R. China. Mr. Xie is a visiting scholar to the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His areas of research include Detection and Estimation Theory, Statistical and Array Signal Processing and Source Localization and Tracking by Passive Arrays. He holds an M.Sc. in Information and Signal Processing and a B.Sc. in Electronic Information Engineering from the Northwestern Polytechnic University, Xian, P.R. China respectively.

    Da Xie's research experience includes, 2006 to present Detection and DOA estimation with passive synthetic array, 2006 to 2007 Detection of weak signals with Bayesian theory. In 2005 to 2006 The application of Monte Carlo methods to direction finding, which come from the item “High-resolution Direction Finding And Tracking of Multiple Sources Based on Monte Carlo Methods” supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China and the item “Multi-source DOA Estimation Research Based on Monte Carlo Methods” supported by Specialized Research Fund for the Doctoral Program of Higher Education and from 2003 to 2005: Application of OFDM technique of underwater communication.

    Edita Arlauskiene
    Foreign Markets Analysts

    Edita located in Lithuania is an Independent Foreign Markets Analyst at Calliste. At twenty-eight she works diligently and efficiently on all matters of business and is a promising young professional. Edita assists the Calliste team to evaluate growth potential and market viability in emerging markets. She provides valuable insight and posseses the ability to analyze opportunities and situations to move projects forward.

    Edita currently a Ph.D. candidate in Social Sciences at Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania holds a M.Sc. in Cultural Management and a B.Sc. in Economics from VMU respectively and graduated with high "final working paper" evaluation scores (10 and 8 respectively).

    In 2003, Edita interned as Foreign Markets Analyst at Bassmint Music Inc. (USA) and the same year interned at the Office of the Seimas, Lithuania. Edita served as Internal Auditor and Executive of Internal Audit Purchase Group at UAB "Senuku prekybos centras in Lithuania". In 2007, Edita was certified an internal auditor. She continues to work at UAB "Senuku prekybos centras in Lithuania" where she currently serves as Administrative Assistant to the President.

    In 2003, Edita received an academic scholarship to study the Hebrew language in Israel from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 1999, she received a scholarship for academic excellence from the Lithuanian National Foundation. Edita enjoys dancing, horse back riding and traveling and is fluent in Lithuanian and English, and speaks Hebrew, Russian and French.

    Christopher Henneforth
    Chris Henneforth is a Partner of Level Partners, LLC a Columbus, Ohio based hedge fund and investment advisory company. His focus is on fundamental analysis of the economy, markets, and companies; and the strategy, sales, and marketing of the firm and its services. Before joining Level Partners, Mr. Henneforth was an Associate in the Debt Capital Markets Division of Cantor Fitzgerald, working out of the New York and Chicago offices. At Cantor, he advised institutions on short and long term cash management strategies using fixed income securities. He began his career at Cantor as a member of the first Fixed Income Sales & Trading and Asset Management Training program in June 2004.

    In June 1998, Mr. Henneforth received his BSBA in Finance and Risk Management/Insurance from The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, and in June 2004 he received his MBA in Finance, with a concentration in Investment Management and Corporate Finance. Currently, Mr. Henneforth is an Adjunct Professor at the Fisher College of Business teaching various classes including the Student Investment Management Program, a class in which the students manage in excess of $15 million of the University's Endowment Fund. Mr. Henneforth also serves on the Fisher College of Business Alumni Board and has been retained by the Ohio State University and the Office of External Development as a consultant on various projects.

    Prior to his return to academia and subsequent career at Cantor Fitzgerald, Mr. Henneforth worked as a Mutual Fund Accountant/Analyst at BISYS Investment Services in Columbus, Ohio for almost four years. Here, he was responsible for the administration and oversight of up to seven funds, as well as teaching upper level courses on various topics in finance including futures, options, and the markets.

    Mr. Henneforth holds his FINRA Series 63 and Series 7 licenses, and has earned the right to use the CFA, or Chartered Financial Analyst, designation. He is currently a member in good standing of the Columbus Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Henneforth serves on various Boards and Committees in the community, including the not for profit MAP Furniture Bank's Development Committee.

    Patricia Traylor
    Ms. Traylor is an experienced team leader with over thirty-five years of executive management experience. During her career Patricia has managed and trained several employees, added value and increased revenues at many companies. She holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, an M.Sc. in Education from George Mason University and is certified ED/LD, and holds a B.A. in Marketing from Howard University.

    At American Express Inc. as Financial and Marketing Manager she developed and implemented a marketing plan for the corporate card product which generated over $22 million dollars in revenue and generated 50,000 new card members. As Marketing Manager at Time Inc.'s Sports Illustrated magazine she generated 300,000 new and renewal subscriptions and was a major team member in all aspects of campaign development from vendor selection to final order analysis. At Earl G. Graves, Ltd. Black Enterprise magazine Patricia, Circulation Director, managed all subscription sales, marketing campaigns and single copy sales for a business publication. Developed and executed direct mail campaigns, two of which yielded response rates of 6 percent. While working at McGraw Hill's Architectural Record as Circulation Director she applied research, foresight and analytical abilities in developing and marketing programs for subscription generation. Developed domestic and international newsstand program with 37% increase sales levels in initial year.

    Ms. Traylor while Vice President of Circulation and Marketing at B.E.T. Publishing Group was instrumental in managing three consumer publications; increased one by 20,000 subscribers and led a creative team to develop response vehicles that generate customer participation to regional as well as national campaigns. She directed the staff efforts to develop direct response television commercials that generated a high quality and quantity of orders. While at Cox-Matthew and Associates as Circulation and Marketing Manager Patricia was instrumental in managing all marketing and subscription campaigns for two education trade publications, Black Issues in Higher Education and Community College Week. Developed, implemented and analyzed all new business campaigns, gift and retention programs. Launched marketing and subscription programs through direct mail for a new consumer publication, “Black Issues Book Review”. At E-Minority Health Publishing Group as Group Circulation Director she launched two new publications: Minority Health Today, and Careers in Health Care. Established in house direct mail subscription programs and fulfillment process. Prepared a publication to meet publications. certification for initial audit. Maintain direct mail program for new and retention business for 4 publications.

    At New York Technical College, Patricia taught marketing, management direct response and sales promotions. She was a seminar presenter: Ethnic Marketing and Career Development and tutored children and adults in reading for 15 years. Patricia is affiliated with the National Association of Black MBA's, AMA, National Alliance of Market Developers. She is fluent in English.

    Dr. AnhThu Nguyen Thi
    Dr. Nguyen Thi a 2003 Fulbright Program scholar is co-founder and serves as Vice President at Saigon Institute of Technology located in Ho Chi Mingh City, Vietnam. The Saigon Institute of Information Technology (SaigonTech) has entered into a partnership agreement with Houston Community College System, Texas, USA (HCCS) to jointly offer courses for HCCS credit that will apply to the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees in Computer Science Technology and Computer & Information Science Technology.

    Since 1985 Dr. Nugyen Thi is a tenured faculty member HochiMinh City University of Technology. She is a guest lecturer at the following institutions; HoChiMinh City University of Finance and Accounting (1993), Hung-Vuong University (1995 - present), HUTECH (1998-Present), HoChiMinh City Open University (2000) and Vice Chancellor at Saigon Institute of Information Technology (2002 - present).

    Dr. Nguyen Thi has taught Applied Mathematics in Power Engineering, Preparation of Feasibility Studies, Laws on FDI in Vietnam, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Business Economics, Systems Analysis, Management for Managers. She has advised over 100 students upon their BA thesis and 6 students upon their MBA thesis.

    In addition Dr. Nguyen Thi designed, administered and delivered dozens of training programs on "Management for Small and Medium Business Managers" in HoChiMinh City and Mekong Delta (Vietnam) (1993-2003), is a Senior Consultant on Domestic and Foreign Investments, Consulting Group on Technology Transfer and Investment, Hanoi, Vietnam (1993-1997), is co-founder of Saigon Tech Project, an IT Educational Institution Project in HCMC (2000-2001) and is a local expert of Training of Trainer Program on ODA (Oversea Development Aids) Project Management (2002).

    Dr. Nguyen Thi has received scholarships from Government of former Soviet Union (1978 - 1984) to attend the Moscow Power Engineering University, USSR, from the Swiss government while attending University of Houston, Clear Lake, USA (2000), from the Vietnamese Government (2001 - 2002) and the U.S. Government, Fulbright Program scholar while attending Ohio University, USA.

    Dr. Nguyen Thi holds a Master degree in Power Systems Cybernetics from The Moscow Power Engineering University (1978-1984, USSR), a Bachelor degree in Russian Language and Civilization from HoChiMinh City University (1986-1990, Vietnam), a Master degree in Economics from Economic University of HoChiMinh City, (1990-1992, Vietnam), a Master degree in Business Administration from HoChiMinh City University of Technology, (1996-1998, Vietnam), a Master degree in American Higher Education, Ohio University, (2003-2004, USA) and a Ph.D. on E-commerce, Economic University of Hochiminh City, (2001-2006, Vietnam). Dr. Nguyen Thi also holds a Diploma “Training Program of Executive Managers” from Trade University, Vietnam and Hawaii University, USA (1997), Diploma ”Training of Trainers for SME Managers” from National Economic University, Vietnam and The Brainworks, Inc., Colorado, USA (1999).     Kelsie McClendon
    Kelsie McClendon, SPHR, MLHR has over a decade of experience in the Human Resources Management field in a variety of industries including manufacturing, health care, insurance, retail, and construction. He has performed responsibilities in the development, alignment, and implementation of organizational and Human Resources Strategy, major organizational change initiatives, organizational development, and the full spectrum of HR functions.

    Kelsie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Arizona State University, a Master’s Degree in Labor in Human Resources from The Ohio State University, and a Senior Professional Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute. He is currently the Human Resources Manager/EEO Officer for heavy civil contractor, President of the Valley of the Sun Human Resources Association, a board member on the Maricopa County Workforce Investment Board, a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, a member of the WorldatWork, a member of the Association of General Contractor’s Arizona Chapter Employment Practices Group and National Human Resources Forums, and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Phoenix.
